Speaker Biography

Mr. Robert Wyman

Mr. Robert Wyman is President of Wyman Enterprises, Inc., in Coral Springs, Florida.

Wyman Enterprises, Inc. provides Forensic Photography and Evidence Documentation services for civil and criminal cases, including secondary criminal investigations by the State Attorney's Office and support to Law Enforcement agencies requiring specialized photo documentation or analysis.

Civil case subjects include personal injury, wrongful death, premises liability and product liability, as well as matters related to risk management, land use/zoning and traffic engineering.

Criminal case subjects include homicide, robbery, battery, fraud, criminal negligence and public corruption.

Mr. Wyman has been accepted as an Expert Witness in Federal, State and local courts. His work has been published in four books regarding Traffic Crash Reconstruction and Evidence Documentation, as well as numerous articles in magazines and industry newsletters.

Mr. Wyman is a frequent guest speaker at conventions, seminars and local association meetings for Private Investigators, Paralegals, Attorneys, Traffic Crash Reconstructionists and Crime Scene Investigators.

The Florida Bar has approved six courses produced by Mr. Wyman for Attorney's Continuing Legal Education (CLE) credits, and many other industry associations furthermore accept Mr. Wyman's presentations for Continuing Education Unit (CEU) awards.

Mr. Wyman previously served as a Traffic Analyst, Traffic Engineer, and Emergency Management Coordinator for Miami-Dade County government, followed by a civilian (non-sworn) position as Special Events Coordinator for the City of Miami Police Department. He started full-time private practice in 1988 and an ongoing continuing education effort in the fields of Traffic Crash Reconstruction, Forensic Science and Digital Photography.

At present, Mr. Wyman's forensic documentation tasks typically include photos, videos, detailed accident site and vehicular damage measurements, 2D scaled diagrams, 3D scaled models, photogrammetry, analysis of photo/video/audio files, computer graphics and research of engineering and safety standards. GPS Forensics is an emerging field in which Mr. Wyman is at the forefront, as well as the acceptance and integration of SmartPhone "Apps" into the forensic and investigative workflow.

Mr. Tim O'Rourke

Tim O'Rourke is the current president of the Florida Association of Licensed Investigators (FALI), which is the third largest Private Investigator Association in the United States and the largest in Florida.

For the past three decades Mr. O'Rourke has been active in the protective and investigative fields. He has served both national and multi-national organizations worldwide and was the co-founder of one of Florida's most prestigious and successful firms for 20 years. Additionally, because of his background the next evolution was to provide training on a global scale via a training school he co-founded in 1998 with a cadre of specialized instructors.

Today Mr. O'Rourke is the president of The Grafton Group which is a Florida-based, multi-disciplined, investigative firm. The Grafton Group is a proud US privately owned and operated firm of professional investigators who are licensed, and certified, in several highly specialized investigative fields

Mr. Kelly E. Riddle
Kelmar Global Investigations

Professional Experience Narrative: Mr. Riddle is the President of Kelmar Global Investigations and has more than 35 years of investigative experience. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice from the University of North Alabama. He was chosen as the “PI of the Year” by the National Association of Investigative Specialists and the PI Magazine named Mr. Riddle as the “#1 PI in the United States”. He has been designated an expert in surveillance, insurance investigations, nursing home abuse and computer investigations. He was chosen as “One of the Top 25 PI’s of the 20th Century.” Kelly obtained his Texas Certified Investigator designation (less than 50 in TX.) Mr. Riddle is also the past President (2010-2012) for TALI - the Texas Association of Licensed Investigators (TALI); Board of Directors (2007-2010) for TALI as well as being on the Board of Directors for the Freedom of Information Foundation of Texas. Kelly is on the Advisory Board for FAPI - the Florida Association of Private Investigators and is on the Public Relations committee for the Council of International Investigators and the Membership Chair for the San Antonio Chapter of ASIS. He is a Founding Board Member and Board Advisor for the non-profit organization “Can You Identify Me.” Kelly was the recipient of the 2013 Hudgins-Sallee award, the highest recognition presented by the Texas Association of Licensed Investigators.

Mr. Riddle is the author of 10 books and has published more than 40 articles. He has been the guest speaker at more than 400 events and has been on national TV, radio and newspapers. Kelly was also presented the NALI Editor-Publisher Award in 2004.

Prior law enforcement experience includes being a member of the SWAT team, a Training Officer, Emergency Medical Technician, Evidence Technician, Arson Investigator, Juvenile Specialist and Traffic Investigator.

Mr. Riddle is the Founder and President of the PI Institute of Education, as well as the Association of Christian Investigators with more than 1000 members in the U.S. and 19 countries. Kelly is the Founder of the Coalition of Association Leaders comprised of past and present board members from state, national and international associations.



Speaker Biography

Mark Gillespie
With more than 28 years of law enforcement and forensic science experience and a master's degree in forensic science from George Washington University, Mark Gillespie combines extensive investigative field experience with cutting-edge technical expertise. In 2004, he founded Gillespie Investigations as a full-service investigative agency specializing in both criminal and civil investigations, background investigations, surveillance, missing persons, forensic consultation, crime scene reconstruction, insurance fraud and infidelity investigations.
Gillespie spent a career as a special agent for the Air Force Office of Special Investigations (AFOSI) and achieved the rank of Lieutenant Colonel before taking an early retirement from the Air Force. Gillespie commanded many investigative units both in the U.S. and overseas. He personally investigated and managed major felony investigations such as capital murder, sexual assault, white collar crime, child abuse, theft, computer crime, sexual exploitation of children on the internet, narcotics and aggravated assault. He also has extensive experience with technical services countermeasures, protective service operations, counterintelligence and counterespionage operations.
Upon his retirement from the Air Force Mark became the Director of Forensic Science for the Austin (Texas) Police Department where he was responsible for directing and managing the department’s crime laboratory. Mark was directly responsible for creating the department’s DNA Lab and a key architect of Texas Senate Bill 638, which allows the collection of DNA samples from persons upon indictment and conviction for certain offenses. Gillespie has extensive experience in crime laboratory management, crime scene investigation and forensic photography.
Between 2002- 2008, Gillespie served on the faculty at St. Edward's University (SEU) where he was an Instructor of Forensic Science, crime scene investigation and criminal investigation. Gillespie has the distinction of bringing forensic science courses to St. Edwards University and establishing their forensic science undergraduate degree program. 
Mark has served on the Board of Directors for the Texas Association of Licensed Investigators from 2007-2014 and as their president from August 2012-September 2014. He is licensed in Texas, Alabama and Louisiana. 
Mark is an active member of Bikers Against Child Abuse (BACA) which exists with the intent to create a safer environment for abused children. 
Mark is a graduate of Robert E. Lee High School in Montgomery, Alabama and Troy State University.
Mark is married to Cheryl Gillespie and they have five children and four grandchildren.

Over thirty seven years in law enforcement which began in 1979 at the Montgomery Police Department. While at MPD served in the patrol, investigative and training divisions. Left MPD in 1989 to join the State Fire Marshal’s Office as a Deputy State Fire Marshal. Promoted to Assistant State Fire Marshal in 2006. Graduate in 2002 of the FBI National Academy, Session 210. Graduate (2009) of the Certified Public Manager (CPM) Program. Graduate of Columbia Southern University with a Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Criminal Justice in 2015.
